LUZ Collection - Las Caritas Mezcal Cups with Face Made in Oaxaca

Our little shot glass with the serene smile is known as La Carita. Made from the gorgeous Oaxacan clay known as barro rojo, by Gloria Mateo in San Marcos Tlapazola, Oaxaca. It has a smooth, matte finish and beautiful rich, red color. These shot glasses hold about 1 ounce. These items can have unique markings that occur randomly in the firing process. These markings are not considered defects. As these items are unglazed, they will absorb liquid, so drink your mezcal before the cup does and allow to dry thoroughly. When ordering from us we ask that you take into consideration that we are working with indigenous communities in Mexico and that delays and inconsistencies are not uncommon.
